Jim Arnold

I grew up in San Bernardino California and gave my life to Jesus in 1981 at Calvary Chapel Riverside. I married Lori in June 1981 and we have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.

We attended and served at Calvary Chapel Lake Arrowhead for 24 years. I served in children and youth ministries, as well as Chaplain for the Christian school and as associate pastor. I have a heart for missions and participated on short-term mission trips to Mexico, England, Scotland, Ireland, and Hungary.

In 1995 our family moved to Scotland and we served in a Calvary Chapel there for 2 years. We came back to Calvary Lake Arrowhead and I completed Bible College and was ordained as a Calvary Chapel Pastor.

We moved to Cork Ireland and planted Calvary Chapel Cork and lived there for 5 years. After being called back to the States, I was asked to pastor at Calvary Landers and did for 7 years.

Feeling the call to return to the mission field Lori and I moved to Tucson and where I served as Mission pastor. We were sent back out as missionaries to Ireland and Scotland from Calvary for 4 years, and are now back serving at Calvary Tucson… and the adventure continues yeeeaaa!

My favorite Bible verse is Romans 1:16… “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes.”
