C. Maricella Tovarez

C. Maricella Tovarez has been a member of Calvary Chapel Tucson since August 1992. Accepting Christ as her personal Savior a year and half prior, the Lord clearly showed her she was to be involved in the Deaf Community in Tucson by moving through various events in her life and establishing her career in the Tucson Unified School District as an Educational Interpreter. She joined the Deaf Ministry at Calvary in 1997 and has been the lead interpreter and Deaf Ministry Overseer since 2005. She enjoys women’s bible studies, learning more and more about interpreting praise and worship music, being involved with and serving the Deaf Community, and spending time with her growing family Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’ ” Isaiah 12:2 (NKJV)
